EVERETT MARTIN AQUATIC CENTER

Located in the high-desert City of Palmdale in California, the Everett Martin Aquatic Facility for the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation was a project for our Los Angeles architects that included the renovation of the bathhouse with daylit locker rooms, staff offices, and ticket/cashier window, site improvements and parking. The project included the complete replacement of the swimming pool, pool deck, fencing, chemical storage, pool mechanical rooms, filtration rooms, and associated pumps and loading access. Due to the facilities’ locale and lack of main line sewer availability, an innovative new leech field and filtration system was designed and installed for the entire aquatic facility.
