Architectural Draftsperson/Designer (Full-Time):

Sparano + Mooney Architecture is a supportive team of architects, designers and craftspeople working on a wide range of architectural projects, carefully crafted at multiple scales throughout the American West. We are a collective of architects, clients, colleagues, makers and like-minded peers that shares a passion for design, collaboration, rigorous critical thinking and sustainability in all that we do.

Would you like to be integral to a collaborative team in which each team member works though all phases of a project, from concept through construction? Would you like to create architecture with process-driven, iterative design excellence as a core value? Are you passionate about positively impacting the communities and individuals your work will serve? Are you eager to design wholistically within unique sites and environmental conditions? We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson / Designer to join our inclusive, tight-knit team in our Salt Lake City office. Varied project types for public and private clients include cultural, recreation, worship, mixed-use housing and custom residential work. 

Qualified candidates will have at least an Associates degree in an architecture-related field and a minimum of 2 years full-time work experience in the preparation and production of construction documents and construction detailing in REVIT on well-designed architectural projects.

REVIT proficiency and strong design, technical and communication (visual, spoken and written) skills are required. Knowledge of code requirements, specifications and cost estimating is desirable. Individuals must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of production through all phases of a project including preparation and coordination of construction documents. Construction administration experience is desirable.

Project Architect/Project Manager (Full-Time):

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect/Project Manager to join our inclusive, tight-knit team in our Los Angeles and Salt Lake City offices.  

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a BArch degree in architecture with 10+ years of full-time experience in design, the preparation and production of construction documents, and construction detailing in REVIT on well-designed architectural projects. REVIT proficiency and excellent design, technical and communication (visual, spoken and written) skills are required. Managing projects in design and construction administration for municipal projects is required for the Los Angeles position. Knowledge of code requirements, specifications and cost estimating is desirable. Individuals must be detail oriented, well organized, and capable of design and coordination through all phases of a project including complete preparation of construction documents and consultant team coordination. Experience in Construction Administration and Project Management on complex projects is essential.
